No one gets left behind.

Umrapp keeps your group together throughout the Umrah — live group map, the guide’s voice in everyone’s ear, the full itinerary, and the rituals. One app for pilgrims and guides, one dashboard for your agency. Available in 6 languages.

Thirty pilgrims scatter within minutes inside the Masjid al-Haram, or during the mazarat — the visits to the historical sites. The guide raises her voice and no one hears it. Someone gets lost, and turns up an hour later if you’re lucky.

Umrapp was built for that. Every pilgrim appears on the group map. The guide’s voice reaches everyone, even with the phone in a pocket and the screen off. The itinerary, hotels, flights and personal documents travel with each pilgrim — and so does what they came for: the Qur’an, prayer times, the qibla, the rites.

Your agency prepares everything from the dashboard before departure. During the journey, the guide runs the group from a phone.

  • 01

    See everyone, live.

The guide turns on the group map and knows where each pilgrim is. Anyone who drifts is found in seconds, not in an hour.

  • 02

    Be heard, always.

A group radio that keeps working with the phone pocketed and the screen off — plus a group chat for messages that stay.

  • 03

The whole trip in one place.

Day-by-day programme, hotels, room assignments, flights, meeting points, personal documents. No more printed sheets that go missing.

  • 04

    The pilgrimage itself.

The Qur’an, prayer times, qibla direction, tawaf counter and the words of each rite.

Everything ready before departure.

The dashboard is where your agency builds the journey. Departures, groups, pilgrims, hotels, rooms, flights, the day-by-day programme — you set it up once, and it appears on every pilgrim’s phone. Change a time or swap a hotel, and the group sees it immediately.

See the dashboard in action.

  • No passwords to hand out.

Add a pilgrim and the system creates their access code and their account. Three letters, four characters, no confusing zeros or ones. Send it straight to their phone: one tap opens WhatsApp with the message already written — their name, their code, and the link to download the app.

  • Know who’s ready before you fly.

Two indicators on every pilgrim’s row: whether they have opened the app, and whether their notifications are on. You can see, weeks ahead, who still hasn’t installed it — and chase those few instead of reminding everyone.

  • Set up one group, reuse it for the next.

Groups on the same itinerary don’t need to be built twice. Copy the programme, hotels and flights from another group in one step. Set the rooms in Makkah and mirror them in Madinah, occupants included.

  • Rooms that make sense.

When you fill a room, the dashboard only offers pilgrims who fit: no one already placed in that city, no one over capacity, women in women’s rooms, men in men’s, families together. You decide who goes with whom — it just stops the mistakes.

  • Nothing missing at departure.

Visa and ticket upload as PDFs on each pilgrim’s row, and the overview shows how many are still missing. Between documents and app activation, you know exactly who needs a phone call.

  • In your language.

English, Arabic, French, Spanish, German and Italian, with full right-to-left layout in Arabic. Your staff works in the language they think in.

Everything a pilgrim needs, in one place.

No sign-up, no password. The pilgrim types the code your agency sent them, and they’re in — already in their own language, one of six.

How it works, from download to first day.

Available on Android.

  • The journey, always at hand.

Day-by-day programme, hotels with a tap-to-call number and directions, flights with every connection, and their personal visa and ticket. Whatever your agency updates, they see.

  • The pilgrimage itself.

The Qur’an, prayer times calculated where they actually are, a qibla compass, a tawaf and sa’i counter that keeps counting, and a step-by-step guide to the rites — what to do, what to say, what differs for men and women.

  • Never out of reach.

The group chat carries text and voice messages. When the guide starts broadcasting, a notification arrives and one tap puts her voice in their ear — even with the phone back in their pocket.

  • One button if something goes wrong.

SOS alerts the guide instantly, with the pilgrim’s position attached. The guide’s phone lights up red wherever she is, whatever she’s doing.

The guide runs the group from her phone.

A guide isn’t sitting at a desk. She’s walking, surrounded by a thousand people, counting heads. Everything she needs is on one screen.

A day with the guide.

  • Turn the map on when it matters.

One switch shares the group’s positions, and everyone gets a notification that it’s on. Tap any marker to see who it is. Turn it off and it stops — and it stops by itself after four hours, in case she forgets.

  • Speak to everyone at once.

Open the radio and talk. She sees how many are listening. It keeps working with the phone in her pocket.

  • See who called for help.

An SOS takes over her screen with four strong vibrations, wherever she is in the app. She sees who, sees where, and marks it handled when it’s done.

  • The group in her hand.

The full list with the split between men and women, and a tap to call or WhatsApp anyone. Room assignments for Makkah and Madinah, editable on the spot when a hotel changes something at the desk.

Built from the inside.

A guide wearing a headset microphone points towards the mountain for his group of pilgrims at sunset.

Umrapp comes from a travel agency that has been organising pilgrimages for more than 15 years and takes around 500 pilgrims to Makkah every year.

Every feature exists because something went wrong on an actual journey: a pilgrim lost in the crowd, a guide shouting over a thousand voices, a group leader holding fifty passports and a paper list.

We built the tool we needed ourselves. Then we opened it to other agencies.

Try it this week.

You don’t need a departure to see how it works. We’ll set you up with a test group of three or four people — you, a colleague, whoever is in the office. Turn the map on, talk on the radio, see it work. It costs nothing.

Umrapp is licensed to agencies on an annual subscription. Pricing depends on how many groups you run and how many pilgrims travel with you each year, so we’d rather look at your case than publish a number that fits no one.

Write to us and we’ll come back with a quote — and, if you want, a live walkthrough of the dashboard before you decide.
